Family-Based Immigration Visas

Parents of a US Citizen, spouse of a US Citizen, and unmarried children of a US citizen who are under 21 have the highest priority to receive visas, can most easily obtain visas and don’t have to wait for an available visa.  Jasper Hill Group can hold your hand through the process.

If you are not a parent, spouse or child of a citizen, don’t despair.  Other family members are eligible, but they must wait for an available visa.  These visas are issued according to the priority established below, the lower the number the higher the possibility that you will receive a visa.

  1. Unmarried, adult (21 years of age or older) sons and daughters of U.S. citizens
  2. Spouses of permanent residents and the unmarried children (under the age of 21) of permanent residents
  3. Unmarried sons and daughters (21 years or age or older) of permanent residents
  4. Married sons and daughters of U.S. citizens, their spouses and their minor children
  5. Brothers and sisters of adult U.S. citizens, their spouses and their minor children
